William H Snedden

William Harold Snedden, 93, of Avon, IN, passed away August 1, 2023 at his daughters home.

He was born on January 12, 1930 in Youngstown, OH the son of the late Robert Hunter Snedden and Sarah Jane (Henry) Snedden. On September 12, 1953 he married Mary Lou (Burton) Snedden, who preceded him in death on August 23, 2020.

Retired, William worked as an Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He enjoyed sailing, golfing and volunteering within his community.

William is survived by two daughters, Jodie Lee Timby and her husband Daryl of Avon, IN and Justine Bright and her husband Bruce of Brownsburg IN. ; two grandchildren: Benjamin William Timby and Sarah Elizabeth (Timby) Woodard and five great grandchildren: Isabelle Grace Barker, Jack Duncan Barker, Jacob Finn Barker, Aaron Jacob Timby, and Abigail Rose Timby: .

At the wish of William there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at the K of P Cemetery.
