William Glenn McDonald, Jr.

William Glenn McDonald, Jr., 65, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

He was born in Cranberry on June 30, 1956, a son of the late William Glenn McDonald, Sr., and Orpha Mae (Bush) McDonald.

Bill formerly enjoyed spending time with his loving companion, Janice C. (Shaffer) Hartzell.  She preceded him in death on December 4, 2021.

He is survived by his aunt, Bertha Fox of Punxsutawney; four sisters, Nancy Brewer and husband Orval of Punxsutawney, Karen Eckman of Dayton, Laurie McDonald of Tidioute and Sandy Borland also of Tidioute.

There will be no visitation.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

His ashes will be interred next to his mother's grave at Ridgemount Cemetery, Bell Township.
