Wendy Lee Lynn, 81, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Penn Highlands Brookville.
She was born in Punxsutawney on October 07, 1943, a daughter of the late Joseph George Lynn and Evangeline (Smith) Lynn.
Wendy was a 1961 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.
She was the owner of Personally Yours Print Shop in Albion and had previously worked at International Jensen.
In 1962, she married David H. Beatty, he preceded her in death in 1974. She later married Phillip Allenbaugh and he also preceded her in death in 1986.
Wendy had a great personality that seemed larger than life at times. She enjoyed laughing, being around people and taking a trip to Salamanca, where lady luck always seemed to be her friend. At home, she liked to sew and was an avid reader.
Above all, her family was the most important part of her life. She was a fun and loving mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed.
She is survived by one daughter, Jenny (John) Pearce of Rochester Mills; four grandchildren, Jesse (Teresa) Pearce of Rochester Mills, Mike (Ashley Wingert) Pearce of Anita, Hannah (Chuck) Garber of Waynesburg, and Heather Giavedoni of Punxsutawney; eleven great grandchildren, Joey, Kennedy, Jaxon, Kaleb, Kaylan, Aaliyah, Davey, Mattison, Greyson, Hayden and Joanna; a the best cousins ever, Laurie Finch (Deb), Tommy (Karen) all of Erie.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Giavedoni.
Friends will be received from 11-1 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Circle Hill Cemetery.
