Walter "Bud" Hauck Obituary

Walter “Bud” Hauck, 82, formerly of Grampian, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Mountain View Memory Care in Greensburg.

He was born on December 01, 1942, in Starford, a son of the late Harry Hauck and Margaret (Peace) Hauck.

Mr. Hauck was a United States Air Force Veteran proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War.

After his time in the military, he enjoyed a long career as a heavy equipment mechanic for Benjamin Coal Company.

He loved anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He went whenever he could.

He is survived by three children, Joy (Doug) Temchulla of Mahaffey, Janet (Tony) Digirolamo of Lower Burrell and John (Marcy) Hauck of Titusville; one sister, Mary “Toot” Harvath of North Carolina; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Hauck; one sister, Judy Johnson.

There will be no visitation, arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run

His ashes will be interred at Clover Run Cemetery, Mahaffey
