Viola Mae (Lambert) Lissy, 78, of Punxsutawney, passed away October 16, 2022 at home.
She was born on October 29, 1943 in Canoe Township, the daughter of the late Elmer Calvin Williard and Irene (Spencer) Neal-Williard.
Viola worked as a waitress at the Pantall Hotel, a cashier at Riverside and also worked for the Punxsutawney Country Club. She retired from Franks Greenhouse.
Viola had a passion for gardening. She always kept a wonderful perennial flower garden. Which leads her into selling perennial flowers and having garage sales every year. Folks would come to just for her flowers.
She enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles with her long time companion Jimmy. But above all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viola is survived by her long time companion James Lindy, Jr, two daughters, Kathy (Lambert) Bouch and her fiancé Fred Day and Connie (Lambert) Palmer and her fiancé David Storti all of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren: Brittany Bouch, Stephen Bouch and his companion Alexis Burkett and Corie Palmer and her companion Derek Kerr; a brother Duane Williard of Florida, a bonus grandson, Justin Storti; two great grandchildren: Canaan Bouch and Titan Bouch; four bonus great grandchildren: Aryia, Sage, Alayah and Ady.
In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.
At the wishes of the family services are private. Burial will be in Pearce Cemetery, Rossiter.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Hospice foundation or Children's Hospital
