Tyler Scott Hetrick, 30, of Reynoldsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at home.
He was born in DuBois on January 29, 1994. He is the son of Darla and Joseph Manners of Reynoldsville and Timothy Hetrick of Brookville.
Tyler was a 2012 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and a 2014 graduate of Triangle Tech where he earned a degree in welding. Following his schooling, he began his apprenticeship for the Ironworkers Local #3 Union in Pittsburgh. He was currently working for Local #3 in Bellefonte area.
He enjoyed going to the gym every day and hanging out there with his brothers and friends. He shared a special bond with his younger brother, Adam, whom he cherished both as a sibling and a best friend. His tender heart extended to his niece Nomi when she was born last year, he became such a hands-on uncle. No one else could hold Nomi when Tyler was around, she loved him dearly and he will be truly missed. Also on his tender hearted side, he had two little pet ducks, Chip and Jeffrey who brought him unexpected but profound joy.
Tyler was always making his family and friends laugh with his crazy and unfiltered personality. He had a great love of music and enjoyed playing bass guitar and drums, leaving behind a playlist of unforgettable memories.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Tyler taught us the importance of laughter, love and living in the moment.
