Toni Marie Lewis

Toni Marie Lewis, 54, of Dinsmore Ave, Punxsutawney, passed away at home on Friday, December 17, 2021.

She was born in Olean, New York on August 25, 1967, the daughter of the late Paul J. Young and Charlotte “Jane”Lockwood) Young.

On August 27, 2010, she married Robert “Buzz” Howard Lewis.  He survives and resides in Punxsutawney.

Toni previously worked as a waitress at the Pantal Hotel and was a loving caretaker of the elderly through Helpmates.

Above all else, Toni loved her children, grandchildren and family.  Her love was nonjudgmental, unconditional, and always had time to listen to what was happening in the lives of her family.  She was the gathering point for her family, she was the glue that held them together.  Toni always had a beautiful smile you could not forget and took pride in her appearance from her hair to her nails. 

She enjoyed music, going to the Mountain Sky music festival, taking roadtrips to New York, checking out Goodwill for little treasures with her friends.

In addition to her husband Buzz, she is survived by one son, Stephen Robert Clark of Big Run; stepchildren, Dalton Lewis and wife Lexie of Rossiter, and Danielle Lewis of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, Devon Goku Clark, Charles Ray Clark, Mylee Annmarie Clark, Chase Wayne Clark, Matthew Paul Clark, Drake Lewis and Maria Lewis; two brothers, Paul Lawrence Young of Anita and Wayne Charles Young and wife Missy of Anita.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Chad Clark.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Eugene Smith.

Interment will follow at Anita Community Cemetery, McCalmont Township.
