Thomas Edward Beck

Thomas Edward Beck Jr., 69, of Rossiter, passed away May 14, 2023, at his home.

He was born on June 2, 1953. in Niagara Falls, NY the son of the late Thomas Edawrd Beck Sr. and DeMaris Loretta (Cessna) Beck.

Tom worked as a seed dealer for FW Shoemaker and collected various types of seeds and sold them to local nurseries for 35 years.

Thomas enjoyed gambling and shooting pool all over.  He loved pie, not just a piece of pie, but the whole pie.

He is survived by his two sisters, Barb Beck of Punxsutawney and Lisa Huey of Glen Campbell; two nieces Sandi and Krista Huey; a nephew Jeremy Bryan and fiancé Sabrina LeDonne of Rossiter, great nieces and nephews whom he adored, Alyssa Wallen, Thomas Bryan and Charles Bryan and Nick and James Huey.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Quay Beck and a sister, Danis Sheryl “Sherry” Rager, and a brother in-law, Dave Huey.

The family of Thomas will receive friends on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. Punxsutawney.  Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
