Terry Lee Bair, 59, of Rossiter, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Highland View Health Care in Brockway following a brief illness.
He was born in Punxsutawney on March 20, 1966, a son of the late Charles L. Bair and Monabell (Zemlin) Bair.
Terry was a 1984 graduate of Jeff Tech Trade School for Machinery.
For over twenty years he worked for FEMCO Machine and later worked for G&S Hydraulics. Making knives was his true calling, he handcrafted beautiful knives and developed a company brand name for himself called the “Bruin Blades.” For fifteen years he donated knives to Make A Wish for their Christmas campaign. He had a generous heart and took care of his family and friends when they needed something.
He was a member of the Rossiter American Legion and the NRA. Terry will be remembered for saying “God, Guns and Guts”
His enjoyments were fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers and going for a car ride.
Terry had an incredible bond with his brother Larry Dean Bair, the two were always together. The loss of Larry was very difficult for Terry, but he had his great niece Alexus Logsdon and great nephew Luke Logsdon to count on to fill the days with simple joys.
Terry also had several good friends that he enjoyed spending time with, Rod Seger, Jimmy Jones and Ben Snair.
In addition to Alexus and Luke, he is survived by one sister, Connie Ryen of Rossiter; one niece, Casey Ryen of New Castle, Indiana.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Bair and aunt, Marilyn Cessna.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
His ashes will be interred at Union Hill Cemetery with his parents and brother Larry.
