Shirley Ann Reinhart, 89, of Big Run, passed away at home on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
She was born in Punxsutawney on June 06, 1936, and was a daughter of the late George Weisdock and Ethel (Heishman) Weisdock.
She was the wife of Richard Lee Reinhart. They enjoyed over fifty years of marriage together, prior to his death on March 2, 2012.
Shirley was a member of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, where she was also the clerk of sessions.
Mrs. Reinhart worked as the secretary in the guidance office of Punxsutawney Area High School prior to her retirement.
She was a woman who found joy in the simple, quiet moments of life, often with a book in her hand or a sewing project across her lap. She loved to quilt because she was creating a treasured gift made with love for her family and friends.
She is survived by three sons, Larry (Chris) Reinhart of Punxsutawney, Gary (Nancy) Reinhart of Big Run, Richard (Katherine) Reinhart of Big Run; seven grandchildren, Josh Reinhart, Michele Reinhart, Michael Reinhart, Hannah (Myles) Merchant, Ian (Caitlyn) Reinhart, Jesse Reinhart and Jakoby Reinhart; six great grandchildren, River and Skylar Reinhart, Aveline and Waylon Merchant, Luke and Aria Reinhart.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Paul, Ronald and Donald Weisdock.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.
Memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to the Heart Association or Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church.
