Ryan Hopkins

Ryan “Slick” Patrick Hopkins, 45, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Magees Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born on July 12, 1976, a son of the late Everett “Chip” Hopkins and Judith (Long) Hopkins.

Ryan formerly worked at Femco Machine Company and was also the former owner of the Beer Shack.

He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Christie and their beloved husky, Loki. He also loved his Doberman Pinscher dogs. Ryan liked to be with friends and family and had a unique sense of humor that always made people laugh.  His hobbies were listening to music, fishing, shooting pool and setting off fireworks.

There will be no visitation.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
