Robert Michael George

Robert Michael George, 53, of Big Run, (formerly of Hamburg, New York), passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 27, 2021.  He was born in North Tonawanda, New York on October 18, 1968, a son of Robert Alan George and Nancy Mae (Krebs) George.  His parents survive and reside in Big Run.

Robert worked at Sensus Metering Systems in Dubois.  He had previously worked in a nursing home in New York, as a caregiver.  The residents loved when he cared for them and requested him to take care of them.  He had a kindness and compassion for those he served in his daily work.  He also worked in construction and was handy at remodeling and carpentry.

He loved to fish and enjoyed hunting as well.  He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved to watch football.

He is survived by his son Casey M, George of New York; his loving Parents Robert and Nancy George, his brother David and wife Dulci George of Pflugerville, Texas; sister Brenda Sweeney (John) of Walston, PA; brother, Glen and wife Melissa George of Sykesville, Pa. He is also survived by several nieces and Nephews. Brandon (Becky) Russell, Dawson and Danielle of Texas, Jessica, Katelyn, Emily and Vanessa of Walston, Pa. Kaylee and Alex of Sykesville, Pa. A private Memorial will be held at a future time and date.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.
