Pamela Sue McConnell, 58, of Big Run, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born in Kittanning on January 11, 1963, a daughter of the late Alvin Wilson and Karen Michelle (Dougan) Wilson.
On August 17, 2002, she married Jeffrey Lance McConnell. He survives and resides in Big Run.
Pam was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sykesville. She was a devoted Christian and a woman of strong faith. She loved praising Jesus and sharing the word of the Lord.
She enjoyed home schooling her daughter, Anna Leigh Michelle McConnell. In her free time, she could be found “stitching” which included embroidering and crocheting. Yarn and thread were her passion.
In addition to her husband, Jeffrey, she is survived by seven children, Rena Margaret Wilson of Punxsutawney, Samuel (Natasha) Dematteo of Dayton, Justin Thomas McConnell of Blairsville, Katherine Christine Wawrzyniak of Blairsville, Elaine Margaret McConnell of Pittsburgh, Ian Jeffrey McConnell of Big Run, and Anna Leigh Michelle McConnell; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Russell (Rose) Wilson of Melissa, Texas, and Larry (Heidi) Wilson of West Middlesex, PA.
Proceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lisa Wilson.
