Mildred G Conrad

Mildred Grace Conrad, 93, of Hagerstown, MD formerly of Punxsutawney passed away September 8, 2023 at Julia Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on December 8, 1929 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Dewey Greenland and Eva (Emerick) Greenland.  

Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. 

She enjoyed playing bingo a few nights a week and was able to pass on her love of the game to her granddaughter, Crystal. They spent many evenings playing bingo together.

Mildred enjoyed driving bus for 16 years.

Mildred also found enjoyment in playing card games, jigsaw puzzles, word searches and crosswords with family and friends. On many occasions Mildred went on picnics with her daughter, Terri, and could be found sitting around a campfire with family and friends.

Mildred’s favorite TV shows were the Price is Right, Jeopardy and the Wheel of Fortune.

She is survived by her two daughters, Terri Lynne Chambers of Hagerstown, MD and Pamela Lee Depp of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren: Crystal Olszeski and her husband Jason,

Paul Chambers and his wife Sarah, and Brandi Buffington; and two great grandsons, Colton Olszeski and Brycen Buffington.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 40 years, Bruce E. Conrad.

A private service was held at the convenience of the family. Burial was at McClure Cemetery.
