Mary M. Krebs

Mary M. Krebs, 83, of Punxsutawney, formerly of Clearfield, passed away on January 04, 2023, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born in Hyde on June 12, 1939, a daughter of the late Clarence Krebs and Anna (Conaway) Krebs.

Mary worked in the mailing department at CJ Packing in DuBois for many years.

Going shopping at the DuBois Mall was Mary’s favorite pastime.  She enjoyed taking the ATA bus and seeing people at the mall.  She always had a smile on her face and appreciated the smallest things in life.  She also enjoyed watching television in her free time.

Mary lived in the Big Run area in home of Donald and Mona Dixon for many years prior to moving to Lane Ave Personal Care Home.  She was a joy to be around and will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Krebs, Glen Krebs, Frank Krebs, and David Krebs; one sister, Violet Krebs.

There will be no visitation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.

Interment will be at McClure Cemetery, Big Run.
