Martin “Marty” Daniel Clark, 78, of Punxsutawney, passed away at home on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at home.

He was born in Wellsville, New York, on March 27, 1947, and was the son of the late Velma May (Dexter) Clark.

On November 30, 1967, he married Kathleen “Cass” M. Williams.  They were married nearly forty-eight years prior to her death on September 24, 2015.

Marty and “Cass” were devoted members of the Covode United Methodist Church for many years.

He was a self-made entrepreneur and built a thriving housing business from the ground up, earning the respect of colleagues and competitors alike through his hard work, integrity, kindness and unwavering dedication to providing housing to many people around the local area of Punxsutawney.  For many years, he and his wife also owned and operated MC Alarms, a successful security company. His journey was one of resilience and perseverance, a true testament to the power of the entrepreneurial spirit.  Beyond his professional success, Marty was known for his passion for classic cars.  He could often be found at car shows exchanging stories with fellow enthusiasts.  He greeted everyone he met with a warm handshake and smile, he was also quick with a joke.

Traveling was another passion that Marty enjoyed with his family over the years, together, they made many wonderful memories that will be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

Spending time in his Florida home brought him happiness for the winter months, but he was always happy to get back home and get to work.
