Louise Anne Nase

Louise Anne Nase, 72, of Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away on August 6, 2025, at home.

She was born in Punxsutawney on July 05, 1953, a daughter of the late Richard A. Nase and Antoinette G. (Polito) Nase.

Louise was a proud graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Her working career began at Rola Jensen in Punxsutawney before moving to Arizona, where she worked for Smith Cline Labs, Beecham Group and Babcock Industries.  The firm relocated to the Los Angeles area and Louise transferred there.  For many years she lived in an apartment that overlooked Disneyland.

In 2001, Louise retired and moved back to Arizona, where she bought a home in a gated golf course community.  She later returned to work a “Home Instead” service that enabled seniors to remain in their own home longer.

She is survived by five siblings, Mary Karasek of Phoenix, Arizona, Paul Nase of Reno, Nevada, Tom Nase of Apache Junction, Arizona, William Nase and wife Nancy of Punxsutawney and Toni Graybill of Hershey, Pennsylvania; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Richard Nase.

A funeral mass was held at Saint Stevens Catholic Church in Chandler, Arizona.

Friends will be received to offer condolences from noon until 3 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
