Louis Mark Lussky, 72, of Brookville, passed away on Tuesday, March 01, 2022, at Penn Highlands Brookville.
He was born in Pittsburgh on June 8, 1949, a son of the late Louis Lussky and Margaret (O’Neill) Lussky.
Following high school, Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971.
He then served in the United States Air Force in Florida, North Dakota and finished his career in New Mexico in 1979.
Mark then went back to college and became a Lawyer. He worked in the Marina Del Rey seaside community of Los Angeles, California. He loved sailing and living in the beautiful area. Mark loved to travel and sightsee as much as time would allow.
He returned to the Brookville area in 2010 to be with his family.
Mr. Lussky was a big supporter of the Democratic Party. In his spare time, he was an avid reader and loved riding his motorcycle.
He was also a published writer.
He is survived by one brother, Joseph Lussky of Brookville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two infant siblings.
In accordance with Mr. Lusskys wishes his body was donated to his Alma Mater, the University of Pittsburgh Medical School through Humanity Gifts. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
His ashes will be interred at the family plot at St Marys Catholic Cemetery.
