Leonard M Ferrent III

Leonard M. Ferrent III, 72, of Punxsutawney, passed away November 26, 2023, at Highland View.

He was born on May 4, 1951, in Punxsutawney, the son of the late Leonard M. Ferrent Jr. and Eleanore (Perry) Ferrent. On February 17, 1973, he married Cheryl (Rake) Ferrent, who survives.

Lenny worked as machinist/engineer with CNC equipment. His hobbies included gunsmithing and coin collecting.

Lenny is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Cheryl (Rake) Ferrent of Punxsutawney; and four children: Leonard M. Ferrent IV and his wife Jeanie of Punxsutawney, Joel Ferrent of Punxsutawney, Jacqueline Ferrent of Bremerton, WA and Jennifer Jackson of Punxsutawney; five grandchildren: McKenzie Ferrent, Elliott Ferrent, Aramy Ferrent, Alexis Zanaglio and Savannah Jackson; and a great grandson, James Jackson.

In addition to his parents, Lenny was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Rake and a son-in-law, Patrick Doyen.

At the wishes of the family there will be no services.
