Kenneth Ray Stiver

Kenneth Ray Stiver, 72, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

He was born in Punxsutawney on June 19, 1952, and he was the son of the late Ronald Stiver and Margaret Jane (Ruth) Haag.

Ken formerly worked at Loree Footwear and Jackson China.  He was a member of REACT for many years.

He enjoyed putting model cars together and watching television.

Survived by one son, Cory (Krisy) Stiver, of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren, Brandon, Louise and Nathan; one brother, Jerry (Alberta) Haag of Punxsutawney.

Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, George Haag.

Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m Monday, January 27, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Paul Davis.

Interment will follow at Devers Cemetery, Rossiter.
