Johnny Ray “Jay” Logsdon, Jr., 41, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 15, 1981, a son of Johnny Ray Logsdon, Sr., and Sharon Ann (Adams) Eberhardt.
Johnny worked construction most of his life, he was always good at his job.
He was caring, compassionate and had a kindness for anyone in need. He was goodhearted and had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around.
Jay is survived by three children, Kaylee Owens and husband Dalton of Shinnston, West Virginia, Lexi Logsdon of Rossiter, and Luke Logsdon of New Castle, Indiana; two grandchildren, Harley and Jay Yeager; his mother Sharon Eberhardt and husband John of Duncansville, his father, Johnny Logsdon and wife Virginia of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Joshua Logsdon of Greensburg; one sister, Tina Hoover and husband Gary of Punxsutawney; one step sister, Heather Sowders and husband James of Louisville, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russell and Delores Adams; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Lena Mae Logsdon.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
