John Clarence Vos, Jr

John Clarence Vos, Jr., 44, of DuBois, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in DuBois.

He was born in DuBois on May 18, 1977, a son of John Clarence Vos, Sr. and Kimberly Rose (Clark) Vos.

John was a 1995 graduate of DuBois Area High School.

He was a former member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union.

On September 21, 2013, he married the former Rebecca L. DeLong.  She survives and resides in Reynoldsville with their son Ezekiel.

John loved being with his children, he enjoyed assistant coaching baseball when his son Carter played ball.  He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, and was a music enthusiast and had a passion for collecting antiques.

In addition to his parents and wife Becky, he is survived by two sons, Carter John Vos of Sykesville, Ezekiel Leland Vos of Reynoldsville; one sister, Tiffany Hilliard and husband “Scoob” Shaun of Anita; two nephews, Garrett and Jack Hilliard; two nieces, Amaya McDermott and Milaydi Hilliard, all of Anita.

He is preceded in death by an infant sister, Tracy Jane Vos.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
