James enjoyed his yearly fishing trips to Canada. He also enjoyed trips to casinos in Atlantic City with his wife and their son-in-laws parents who were like a second family to them. James was an avid outdoorsman- he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. When he belonged to the sportsmen’s club he would always participate in the annual Turkey Shoot.

In his later years he enjoyed watching all of the old-time western movies on the History and Discovery Channel if they were in black and white it made the movie even better.

James was always collecting things from coins to antique cars. But above all James was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a huge supporter of the Punxsy Little League, even after his grandchildren were no longer playing ball, he and his wife still attended games and listened to local football games faithfully.

He will be remembered for his kind heart and always being willing to lend a helping hand to others.

James is survived by his daughter, Patricia Lellock and her husband Jerry of Rossiter; two grandchildren: Amber Soller and her husband Tanner of Bulter and Dakota Lellock of Rossiter; two great grandchildren: Molly and Jonah Soller of Butler; five sisters: Irene Smith, Dorothy Hunt, Katherine Means, Linda Umbaugh and Jane Wulfert; and two brothers: William Umbaugh and Robert Umbaugh.
