James Thomas Troutman

James Thomas Troutman age 85, a resident of Sun Valley acres and Glen Campbell, PA, passed away on Wednesday December 25, 2024, at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh PA. He was born in Frogtown, Clarion County on November 11, 1939, the son of the late James and Mary Alice (Dodson) Troutman.

James worked as a laborer at Brookville Lumber Company. He was a member of the Saints Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church. He was an avid oil painter of scenery and loved taking photographs. James also loved camping and being out in nature.

James is survived by his wife Catherine J (Biggie) Troutman who he married in 2002. He is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Troutman of Cheyenne, WY, and Gerald Troutman of Brookville, PA.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on January 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Father William Laska, at the Brookville Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville PA. Services have been entrusted to the Shumaker Funeral Home Inc.
