Jacqueline Marie Obituary

Jacqueline Marie, 75, of (Anita area) Punxsutawney, passed away with her family at her bedside on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born in Punxsutawney on April 06, 1951, a daughter of the late Paul Louise Marie and Frances (Canton) Marie.

She previously attended New Beginnings Church in Walston.

Jackie was the beloved Matriarch of her family, she was strong-willed, feisty and never afraid to speak her mind, she was deeply loved and respected.

She loved to cook and had a remarkable ability to make something out of nothing and was able to create delicious meals for her family.

Jackie proved her stubbornness and strong will by not only surviving, but by living a great life nearly five years following a diagnosis that should have ended her life in a few months.  It provided extra time for her to enjoy her family and friends, creating great memories that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by three children, Raymond “Poke” Edwin Long and fiancé Diana Smith of Punxsutawney, Dannielle (Troy) Spencer of Punxsutawney and Dustin (Nicole) Long of Punxsutawney; six grandchildren, Jordan Marie (Kayla) Travis, Mason David Long, Jessa (Bean) Lucianna Long, Dakota Raymond Long, T.J.
