Harry William Batley, 23, of New Bethlehem, passed away tragically on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Indiana.
He was born on January 29, 1996 with an identical twin brother, Brett Alan Batley, Jr., the sons of the late Jeannette Kay (Arnold) and Brett Alan Batley, Sr. of North Braddock.
Harry was a kind, caring person that would do anything for someone in need. He was outgoing, he really liked to be outside by a bonfire and hanging out with friends, he enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, and loved his black Ford Truck and was meticulous in keeping it clean.
More than anything, Harry loved to work at Universal Well Services since he was eighteen years old. He was proud of his job, worked hard and saved his money to buy nice things and to one day become a homeowner.
Harry is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by the brothers and sisters that he leaves behind. Jessica Noll and fiancé Denny Mathe of White Oak, Christopher Noll of New Alexandria, Amanda Smith and husband Jeffery, Kyle Batley and girlfriend Alexis Burton of Brookville, his twin brother, Brett Batley, Jr of Punxsutawney; nieces and nephews, Cami Noll, Haley Smith, Hunter Smith, Parker Smith, and Zakary Smith and one nephew on the way, Carter Alan Batley; paternal step grandmother, Mary Jo Batley of Murrysville; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth DiLeonardo of Coloma, Michigan.
Preceded in death by his mother, Jeannette Kay (Arnold) Batley McCarthy, paternal grandparents, Harry and Constance Batley, maternal step grandfather, Angelo DiLeonardo.
Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. May 1, 2019, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. officiated by his former foster parent, Tom Blose.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Brookville Cemetery officiated by his former foster parent, Pastor Tom Blose.
Interment will be at Brookville Cemetery.
