George Henry Huber, 70, of Ringgold, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
He was born in Brookville on August 11, 1953, a son of the late John Huber and Twila (Beatner) Huber.
On September 09, 1987, he married the love of his life, Cheryl Lynn McClain. She survives and resides in Ringgold.
George enjoyed spending time with his family, loved fishing, hunting, working on cars and going to the races at Marion Center.
In addition to his wife Cheryl, he is survived by three children, Sheila (James) Emigh of Falls Creek, Jeff Huber of Langville and Scott (Tammi McCullough) Huber of Big Run; eight grandchildren, Bladen Huber, Macey Huber, Mariska Huber, Hailey Emigh, Rieleigh Emigh, Carleigh Emigh, Adrienne Huber, Ashlyn Huber; one great grandson, Kayden Huber; one sister, Dorothy (Tom) Wood of Freeport; two brothers, Bill (Dawn) Huber of Kittanning, John (Janet) Huber of Worthville and Jim Huber of Langville.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Tiana Dawn Huber.
Friends will be received from noon until 4pm on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 4pm at the funeral home.
