Evelyn A. Ulianna

Evelyn A. Ulianna, 85, formally of Sigel, PA died on July 13, 2022 at her home in Punxsutawney.

She was born on May 13, 1937 in Nazareth, PA the daughter of the late Carrie Faust and William Kale.

She was employed by The Farmers Inn Restaurant in Sigel, PA for over 25 years and was the former owner of Sigel Golf Course.

Evelyn loved being outdoors, cutting grass, planting flowers or just enjoying the afternoon on her porch swing.

She looked forward to meeting up with her family and friends every Tuesday for what she called “The Breakfast Club”. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family. Evelyn was a great animal lover having many cats and dogs in her lifetime.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Terri West of Coolspring, PA, Glenn West of Duncansville, PA, Jeffrey West and wife Victoria of Fleming Isle, FL, Monte West and fiancé Melinda Wiles of Coolspring, PA, Annette (West) McQuown and husband Steven of Punxsutawney, Brian West of Hermitage, PA and Heather Ulianna of Sigel, PA; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; also two sisters: Madeline and Josephine.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Keith J. West and Michael A. Ulianna; two sisters: Winifred and Shirley; and two brothers: Ray and Henry.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. Punxsutawney.
