Eileen J Muir

Eileen Jane Muir, 92, of Worthville, passed away November 9, 2023 at her home.

She was born on June 28, 1931 in Punxsutawney the daughter of the late Carlton and Anna Mae (Hollenbaugh) Mowery.

Eileen worked for herself and ran a beauty solan out of her home. Prior to having her salon, she worked for Pramco Sport Wear for several years.

Eileen was a gifted artist, her home was a beautiful decorated canvas of her creations. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and drawing. She was talented in making various crafts, jewelry, ceramics, and stained glass. But above all she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters, Terri Cline and Dawn Jordan and her husband, Lee all of Worthville; a grandson, Dean Leksell and four great grandchildren: Brandy, John Paul, Justin and Jared; a brother, Richard Mowrey and a sister, Sally Milliron.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Donald Cline and second husband, William John Muir; and three sister, Ruth Kellar, Louise Kerr and Helen Kerr.

At the wishes of Eileen there will be no services. Burial will be in Worthville Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the charity of the donors choice.
