Dylan James Anderson, 21, of Reynoldsville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County.
He was born in DuBois on July 24, 2002, a son of William Carl Anderson and Lisa Renee (Humble) Anderson.
Dylan was a 2020 graduate of DuBois Area High School.
He worked setting guiderails for Penn Lines and Green Acres Construction. He was a member of the Laborers' Union in Pittsburgh.
His memory will be cherished for the many belly laughs and good times he created for all those around him. Dylan loved to communicate with his funny texts, Snapchats, quick wit and hilarious humor. Although he was known for entertaining people, he was also very loving and kind; he loved others, and he was loved in return.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends, hunting, fishing and motorcycles. He especially loved his dog, Navi-Jean.
He is survived by his parents, Bill "Scrub" and Lisa; his only brother, Brayden Matthew Anderson; his maternal grandparents, David and Betty Humble of Hamilton; paternal grandparents Todd and Joyce Anderson of Reynoldsville; and aunts and uncles Tom (Kim) Anderson of Stump Creek, Kathy (Doug) Reagle of DuBois, Wes (Vonda) Anderson of Punxsutawney, Todd Anderson of Reynoldsville, Teresa (Jon) Rishell of Reynoldsville, Lori (Scott) Bowers of Punxsutawney; Laura (James) Shaffer and David (Missie) Humble.
There will be no viewing. Friends will be received by the family from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
