Donald Todd

Donald Todd died peacefully on November 20, 2023 surrounded by family on the family farm in Punxsutawney, PA.

 He was born on February 19, 1936 the son of the late Leland and Marie Todd and was married to his adoring spouse Marcia for 38 years.

Don was survived by his children, David (Carrie) Todd, Randy Todd, Dawn Renee (Ike) Miller, and stepson Terry (Joni) Raisley. Don was proud of the fact that he was blessed with 5 generations of grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Todd.

Don was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a trusted and admired member of the community and was respected by all who were lucky enough to meet him. Don was the kind of person who was always ready to lend a helping hand even to a complete stranger. He retired in 1990 from AK Steel and a shipping foreman for 32 years. Don was an avid sportsman and loved working on the family horse farm. He was also active and devoted member of the Dora Evangelical Church.

We would like to express our gratitude to granddaughter Krissy Waugaman for her constant love and care at Don’s bedside until he passed on. And also, the nephew Jesse Cobane and niece Shannon Woollett for years of devotion and selfless work on the Farm.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
