Obituary

Diane Moore, 73, of Punxsutawney, passed away November 12, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born on June 10, 1949 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Walter D. Pennington and Fannie Berringer Pennington.

Diane loved spending time with her family in PA and MD, visiting her sister’s home, and having family meals together. She enjoyed visiting the beach and appreciating the beauty of the outdoors, especially in Spring and Fall. Prior to retiring, she was self-employed.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tricia Zarfoss and her husband Jason of Columbia, MD and Brandi Peace and her husband Greg of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren: Cameron Peace, Lincoln Peace, Isabel (Izzy) Zarfoss and Avery Zarfoss; a sister, Linda Fetterman of Punxsutawney; nieces and nephews: Adam Means, Missy Fetterman, Jason and Judy Fetterman, Jared and Brittney Penington and Misty and Jeff Kimmerlee. Diane had many wonderful friends who were like family and kind and generous neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Moore; a brother, Larry Pennington ; two sisters, Wanda Means and Debbie Long; nephew, Jimmy Long; and niece, Amber Pennington.

At the wishes of Diane, visitation and services will be private. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Dianes memory to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
