Clair Gene Campbell

Clair Gene Campbell, 77, of Rochester Mills, PA passed away March 22, 2024, at his home.

He was born on June 29, 1946, in Punxsutawney, the son of the late Lettie Campbell. On May 19, 1973 he married Joanne (Hill) Campbell, whom preceded him in death on October 17, 2007.

Retired, Gene worked for SW Jack Drilling and Delta Drilling.

Gene was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars.

He is survived by his five children: Tammy Campbell of Seneca, Joleen Little and her husband Joseph Dexter City, OH, Amanda Ehause and her husband Ronald of Rochester Mills, Tanya Harmon and her husband Luther Marion Center and Matthew Campbell and his wife Renea of Punxsutawney; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gene was preceded in death by a son, Barry Campbell and two infant children: Clair and Hope Lynn Campbell.

The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Donald Bair officiating. Burial will be in the Campbell family Cemetery, Rochester Mills.
