Charles Kiser Obituary

Charles Paul Kiser, 80, of Mahaffey, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania on September 20, 1941, a son of the late Joseph Paul Kiser and Nettie Marie (Christian) Kiser.

Mr. Kiser was a United States Army Veteran serving during the 1960’s.

Chuck was a member of the the Masonic Lodge #799 and the Teamsters Union.

He worked as an over the road truck driver, he drove thousands and thousands of miles over the years. He later owned a small trucking dispatch company. Chuck later became the owner of KC Country Bar and Grill in Stump Creek for over ten years. He enjoyed the work, the customers and the entertainment of owning and operating a bar. He met many people through the years and was a very kind and generous man. He was happy to quietly help someone out that had a need and has helped many people over the years.

Chuck enjoyed traveling the highways and roads, he took many trips in his motorhome across the United States to go fishing in Alaska.  He loved fishing and spending time in Alaska. Adventurous trips made him happy, his desire was to one day make it to Australia and Paris. When at home, he was content and enjoyed the company of “Mr. Cat” his friends and neighbors.

He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Ann Kiser-Wagner and husband Kurt of Valencia; three sons, Robert Michael Kiser and wife Pam of Leechburg, William Scott Kiser of Tarentum and Charles James Kiser of New Kensington five grandchildren, Kauner Lee Wagner, Kim (Kiser) Ramirez, Scott A. Kiser, Nicole M. Kiser and Jessica M. Kiser; five great grandchildren; two brothers, William “Bill” Kiser and Paul Kiser, both of North Bessemer, Penn Hills, Pennsylvania.

 Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, David and James Kiser; one sister, Margaret Frank.

In accordance to Chuck’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.

His ashes will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
