Cecelia Henry Obituary

Cecelia Marie “CeCe” Henry, 61, of Punxsutawney, passed away October 27, 2023 at Mulberry Square. She was born on January 14, 1962 in Wilson, NY the daughter of the late Joseph Napolean Osher and Gertrude Vera (Babcock) Osher. Cecelia worked as a secretary at a car dealership. She was an active resident at Mulberry Square, most of the employees often would refer to her as “the mother hen”. She took joy in helping organize various crafting activities at the home. She enjoyed coloring, painting and many of her works of art are displayed in the courtyard. CeCe loved the residents and staff dearly at Mulberry Square and will be dearly missed. Cecelia is survived by her two children: Stacey Askey and her husband Sean Hassett of Manasses, VA and William Reimer and his long time partner Elizabeth Gunnells of Hartsville, SC; four grandchildren: Dennis Duffy, Jayda Reimer, James Reimer, and Willow Gunnells; her daughter in heart, Jamie Duffy; four sisters: Judie Hetrick and her husband Earl, Darien Zbieszkowski, Mary Skowron and her husband Mike, and Mildred Osher all of western New York. In addition to her parents, Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband Martin Craig Henry, who preceded her in death on November 25, 2013; three brothers, Joseph, Fred and Yancy Osher and a sister, Eva Hursch. A celebration of life service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Mulberry Square. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Marfan Foundation.
