Alice J Humble

Alice J. Humble, 91, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Mulberry Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

She was born in Depew, New York on April 24, 1934, to the late Barney Kuras and Mary (Cubera) Kuras.

Alice was married to John D. Cybulski who preceded her in death in 1970.

On November 24, 1978, she married Cary “Butch” Humble, and they made their home in Rossiter.  He preceded her in death in 1994.

Mrs. Humble was Catholic by faith and had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, she also liked to knit, crochet and bake. 

She was a Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan.

Survived by her niece, whom she loved like a daughter, Jacquelyn (Michael) Nati; grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Anthony and Michaela; sisters, Celia (Terry), Mary Ann and Harriet; special friends, Jenny Sprague and Linda Fetterman; she will be missed by her beloved fur babies Ellie and Margaret.

Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sister, Dorothy and three brothers, Robert, Michael and Corky.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. officiated by Monsignor Joseph Riccardo.

Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery, Rossiter.
