Victoria Rudolph Obituary

Victoria “Vicki” Ann Rudolph, 57, of Ringgold passed away suddenly Saturday, January 27, 2018 at home.

She was born on March 29, 1960 in Brookville, a daughter of the late Gary Lee Rhodes and Rebecca Ann (Mays) Rhodes.

On May 19, 1984 she married Timothy S. Rudolph.  He survives and resides in Ringgold.

Vicki worked at the Pantal Hotel as a food and beverage manager for many years.  She recently contributed recipes for a book of delicious Pantal delights which is being compiled to benefit charity.

She was a good hearted woman who always put others before herself.  She lovingly cared for her mother in her last years, and was naturally the caring,  “big sister” to her siblings, whom she dearly loved.

Her enjoyments were her dogs Mutt and Sammy, cooking, playing Candy Crush and cards, and treating herself to a pedicure.

In addition to her husband Tim, she is survived by two brothers, Lonnie Kunselman of Punxsutawney, and Mark Rhodes and wife Luann of State College; one sister, Barbara Rhodes and fiancé John C. Young, Jr of DuBois; two nephews, Mark Rhodes and Jacob Kunselman; one niece, Alicia Rhodes; mother in law , Shirley Rudolph.

Preceded in death by her father Gary Rhodes, her mother Rebecca Kunselman, step father, Alonzo Kunselman, maternal grandparents, William J. And Bessie Mays of Brookville and her paternal grandmother, Helen Black Rhodes of Brookville.

In accordance to Vicki’s wishes there will be no viewing.  Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Shumaker Funeral Home, inc., Punxsutawney.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made in Vicki’s memory to Lisa’s Ladybugs, PO Box 693 Punxsutawney, PA. 15767 or the Animal Hospital, 2421 Walston Road, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
