Ronald Eugene Ghezzi

Mr. Ronald Eugene Ghezzi, 71, formerly of Sykesville, passed away quietly at Christ The King Manor in DuBois on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.  Mr. Ghezzi was born on January 7, 1946 to the late Bruno and Dorothy (Zeedock) Ghezzi. 

Mr. Ghezzi worked at Rockwell International Meter Company in DuBois from the time he was 16 years old until he retired ... a life-long occupation which he began as a general laborer and completed as a supervisor.  Although Ron worked hard his entire life, he still found time to enjoy the outdoors; especially, hunting and camping which were his passions.  As a proud grandfather, he dearly loved and was dedicated to his two special grandchildren, Mara and Kade.  

Ron is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Foltz and her husband Alex of Falls Creek; his step-son, Steve Ghezzi of Washington; his sister, Jan Keller and her husband Dave of Big Run; and his two special grandchildren, Mara and Kade Foltz.

Mr. Ghezzi was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Dorothy Ghezzi.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Punxsutawney.  Memorial Donations in Ron's memory can be made to the Middle Ridge Sportsman's Club in Sykesville.
