Rebecca Pearl Pearce

Rebecca “Becky” Pearl Pearce, 50, of Punxsutawney, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born on November 11, 1967, a daughter of the late John J. Edward Dilts who survives and resides in Plumville.

Becky was known as “Big Mama Pearl” by her family.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she was known as “Mom” by many kids that were around her.

She enjoyed spending time outside, playing Candy Crush, and spending time with her fiancé Brian Shirey.

She is survived by two children, Missie Powers and husband Patrick, and John Murray and Amanda Jarrett, all of Punxsutawney; stepson Joshua Snair of Plumville; ten grandchildren, Lacy, Jacob, Kolton, Georgia, and Xander Powers, Misty Hallet and husband Jay, Zayne and John Murray Jr.; two great grandchildren; a special niece and nephew, Stephanie and Eric Dilts; Special sister, Spring Thom and husband Joe of Hamilton; four brothers, John Dilts of Plumville, Jimmy Dilts of Woodsfield, OH, Kenny Dilts of Plumville, and Paul Dilts and wife Chris of Woodsfield, OH; her adoptive parents, Albert and Janet Young; and her fur baby, Angel Sky.

Preceded in death by a sister, Renee Painter Delp.

There will be no viewing.  Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
