Patricia Craft Obituary

Patricia Arlene Craft, 58, of DuBois (formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, June 01, 2018 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

She was born on January 07, 1960 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Ralph R. and Lillie Mary (Shields) Pearce.

She was the wife of Dennis Steven Craft, of Punxsutawney.  He survives and resides in Punxsutawney.

Patty attended One Life Church in Punxsutawney.

She was a caregiver for many years, she previously worked for Wellington Heights and Green Acres Personal Care Home.  Earlier in her working years she worked at Sportswear.

Patty enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with her family.  Patty previously lived on a farm, where she enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. As of lately, she enjoyed tending to her flowers, and reading.

One of her favorite pass times was spending weekends with her sisters at Parker Dam.

She is survived by four children, Steven Craft and wife Aimee of DuBois, Christine Gromley and husband Jesse of Glen Campbell, Ashley Heffner and husband Justin of DuBois, Dakota Craft and Tiffany Weakland; former husband, Dennis Craft; five grandchildren, Raiden and Payton Craft, Abigail Gromley, Hunter Heffner, and Braxston Craft; three brothers, Ralph Pearce Jr. and wife Susan of Maine, Milton Pearce and wife Janice of Montana, Mark Pearce and wife Donna of Rossiter; Jolene Fleming of Rossiter, Mary Rhoades and husband George of Tyler, Charlotte Holway, Colorado, and Wanda Huey of Rossiter; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Lenny Pearce; two sisters, Kathy Gomola and Molly Huber; one granddaughter, Trinity Craft.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.  A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Guy Smith.

Memorial donations may be made in Patty’s memory to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Foundation.
