Donna Marie Lorenzo

Donna Marie Lorenzo, 84, of Punxsutawney passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.

She was born on July 23, 1934 in Sunnyside, a daughter of the late Jay and Pauline (Geist) Boyer.

On June 30, 1963 she married Francis Donald “Slats” Lorenzo.  He preceded her in death in 1998.

Donna was a very loving mother that cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a gentle woman and a true animal lover, she especially loved her own cats and dogs.  Her pets were privileged to have her as their keeper and they too will miss her tremendously.

She is survived by three children, Terry H. Clark and wife Julie, Craig A. Clark and wife Ronda, and Michele P. “Boo” Lorenzo and  fiancé Carmell Jaber, all of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Terry H. Clark, Jr. and wife Tracy, Heather Peterson, Dane Clark and wife Emily, and Jagger Jaber; seven great grandchildren; one brother, John Boyer of Sykesville; one sister, Patty Burkett and husband Delmas of Punxsutawney.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband “Slats”, and brother William Boyer.

Friends will be received from 2- 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 09, 2019 at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 5:30 Wednesday with Terry Fye officiating.

Interment will be private at Circle Hill Cemetery.
