USAF Master Sergeant, (retired) Rebecca "Becky" Suzanne (Depp) Cleveland, 48, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at  home in Punxsutawney following a lengthy illness.  She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.  Rebecca was born on July 2, 1969 to Theodore G. Depp and Darlene LaRue Bowser.  Her father, Theodore and wife, Pamela survive and reside in Coolspring; and her mother Darlene and husband, Clarence "Bud" Aldridge also survive and reside in Zepher Hills, FL.  Rebecca was married to MSgt Roger Neal Cleveland (ret) who survives and resides in Punxsutawney.

Master Sergeant Cleveland entered active duty in the United States Air Force on August 4, 1987 and honorably served for over 24 years before the onset of her illness.  Rebecca proudly served for over 17 years as a Medical Logistician before being competitively selected as a First Sergeant, a position she held for the remainder of her career.  During the span of her military career, MSgt Cleveland served in Korea, Iraq, Bahrain, and Afghanistan.  Her military decorations include three Meritorious Service Medals; two Air Force Commendation Medals, and Five Air Force Achievement Medals.  She was also awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Korean Defense Service Medal.  MSgt Cleveland served with honor and distinction going above and beyond the call of duty as a matter of routine.  She will be woefully missed by her family, friends, and comrades in arms. Thank you MSgt Cleveland for serving this great nation of ours faithfully and honorably, and for the many personal sacrifices you have selflessly made while proudly wearing your uniform!

In addition to her husband, Roger Cleveland, her father, Theodore Depp and his wife Pamela, and her mother, Darlene Bowser and her husband "Bud", Rebecca is survived by her son, Justin Lynn Evans of Wichita, KS; two brothers and a sister, Theodore Depp and wife Stacy of Canoe Ridge; Richard Depp and wife Chelley of Elkins, WV; and, Deneen Bair and husband Ron of Big Run.  She is also survived by her granddaughter, Ashlynn Evans.

Rebecca was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Sue Depp.

A memorial service will be held for Rebecca from 2-4 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. in Big Run.  Joseph Buterbaugh will officiate the service.  MSgt Cleveland will receive full military honors from the Andrews Air Force Base Honor Guard.
