Monroe Miller

Monroe E. Miller, 65, of Buggy Road, Punxsutawney, passed away at home on Sunday, November 13, 2016.

He was born on July 17, 1951 in Middlefield, Ohio, a son of the late Eli J. Miller and Mary (Hershberger) Miller.

Mr. Miller was the husband of Emma (Hershberger) Miller.  She survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by nine children; David Miller and wife Sarann of, Laura Schlabach , Monroe E. Miller Jr. and wife Mary, Susan Byler and husband Lester, Fannie Coblentz and husband Ervin, Edward Miller and wife Esther, Crist Miller and wife Emma, William Miller and wife Laura, Maryann Schlabach and husband Jake; sixty two Grandchildren, three Great Grandchildren; seven sisters and six brothers.

Preceded in death by his parents, a grandson; and a son inlaw Ervin Schlabach.

Friends will be received after 4 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016 and from 8-10 a.m., Tuesday at 247 Bear Lane, Punxsutawney.  Funeral service will follow in accordance to Amish tradition.

Interment will be in the Troutville Amish Cemetery.
